Contact Us About a Leather Repair

Send two photographs and a sentence about what happened. In most cases you get a price and a visit date back the same day, without anybody coming out first.

How to reach us

However you contact us, the first thing we will ask for is a picture. Starting with one saves a round trip.

Fastest Text the photos

Take two pictures on your phone and send them straight to the same number. Most leather repair quotes go back within a few hours this way, because we can see the mark instead of imagining it.

Text (347) 310-7483
If you would rather talk Call us

Useful when the piece is awkward to describe, when there is more than one item, or when you are working to a date — a move-out, an inspection, an event.

Better for several pieces, a building, or anything that needs paperwork. The link below opens a message with the four things we need already laid out.

Email us

There is no form on this page on purpose. Forms lose photographs, and a photograph is the one thing that lets us price a leather repair without driving to you first. A text with two pictures beats three emails.

Office hours are below. Texts and emails outside them are answered the next working morning.

Four lines and two pictures

What to send so we can quote it

Nearly every leather repair in New Jersey is priced from photographs. We do not charge to look and we do not need to visit first.

Tell us what the piece is, what happened to it, roughly when, and your town. Those four lines plus two pictures are enough to put a number and a date on it.

The date matters more than the size of the mark. The same spill is a different job at one week and at six months, and the price moves with the clock.

A scratched leather sofa arm photographed from square on in daylight
  1. The whole piece

Far enough back to see the entire sofa or chair, so we can read the colour and the sheen.

  2. The mark, close up

Close enough that its edge is sharp. The edge tells us whether it is surface or structural.

  3. Daylight, no flash

Flash flattens the grain and hides depth, which is the one thing we are trying to judge.

  4. Say what you tried

If a cleaner or a kit has already been on it, tell us. It changes what we bring, not whether we come.

What people contact us about

The three we are asked about most

If your piece is one of these, the page will tell you what the work involves before you even write to us.

Everything else we take on is listed on the services page.

What happens next

We look at the pictures and come back with three things: what the work actually is, what it costs, and the next open visit in your area.

If the photographs are not enough to be sure — it happens with deep cracking and with hide that may have lost its structure — we say so and arrange a look rather than guess at a number.

If it is a job we should not take, we say that too. Hide that has lost its structure, or a bonded cover lifting away in sheets, will not hold colour however much of it we put on, and we would rather lose the booking than do work that fails in a year.

Nothing is due when you book. You pay on completion, once you have seen the work in your own light.

Not sure which service you are even asking about? The help center walks through it, or go straight to scratch, scuff or crack repair.

When we answer

Hours and response times

Monday to Friday

9am to 6pm. Texts and calls answered live. Photo quotes usually go back the same day.

Saturday

10am to 4pm. Good day for homes where nobody is in during the week.

Sunday

Messages only. Anything that arrives is answered on Monday morning.

Urgent work

Move-outs, inspections, an event with a date on it — say so in the first message and we will tell you honestly whether we can make it.

A technician working on a leather chair on site

Visits run two to four hours for a typical panel, and the piece is usable the same evening. Nearly everything happens in the room the furniture already stands in.

We work in homes, offices, restaurants, hotels and buildings. For several pieces at once, or for a managed building, email is the better opening — it keeps the list and the photographs together.

Parking and access are worth a sentence when you write. A third-floor walk-up in Hoboken, a building with a service elevator window, a gated community that needs us on a list — all of it is easy when we know in advance and all of it costs an afternoon when we do not.

Who writes to us

Homes, rentals and buildings

Roughly half of what we are contacted about is somebody’s own sofa. The rest is furniture that belongs to a lease, a listing or a building.

Buildings and offices

If the furniture is not yours — a tenant’s, a landlord’s, a staged listing, a building lobby — say so when you contact us. It changes what we document rather than what we do: before and after photographs with a written note of the work, which is what gets attached to a deposit dispute or an insurance claim.

For more than two or three pieces, send a list with the photographs and we will price them together. A floor of units done in one visit costs less per piece than the same units done one at a time, and it is a single disruption instead of six.

Service area

Where we come to you

We are a mobile workshop. In most cases the piece never leaves the room it lives in, which matters in the older colonials and split-levels where a sectional was built in place.

Quick answers

Is the quote really free?

Yes. Quotes are given from photographs, there is no call-out charge to look, and no deposit to book.

How fast will you reply?

Within a few hours on a working day for a text with pictures. Emails the same day. Anything arriving on a Sunday is answered Monday morning.

Do you need to visit before quoting?

Usually not. Photographs are enough for most leather repair work. When they are not, we say so rather than quote a number we cannot stand behind.

How soon can you come?

Usually within the same week across North and Central New Jersey. Tell us if you are working to a date.

Can I send photographs by text?

Yes, and it is the fastest route. Same number as the phone line.

Do you work with businesses and property managers?

Yes — offices, restaurants, hotels, medical waiting rooms and residential buildings, per piece or across a site. Email works best for those.

What if the piece cannot be repaired?

We tell you, and we do not charge for finding out. The help center explains what does and does not come back.
