Questions

Do I need upholstery or leather experience?

No. We teach the methods. Sewing, tailoring, upholstery or any careful hands-on work gives you a head start.

Where does the training happen?

At our New York base, for about one week of hands-on work on real pieces. From most of North Jersey that is a short trip.

Which parts of New Jersey are you hiring for?

Tell us where you live and how far you are happy to drive. The area you would cover is agreed before you start.

Is it a job or a partnership?

The terms for New Jersey are explained in writing before you commit to anything. Ask us about them in your first email.

Do I need a car?

Yes. Field work means driving to customers’ homes and businesses, so a valid license and a reliable vehicle are required.

What should I send?

Your town, your sewing or hands-on experience, whether you have a license and a vehicle, and a line on why the work interests you.
