Fix it, do not replace it

Burns, tears, split seams, cracked vinyl, wobbling legs and scarred bar tops. Repaired in the room, overnight, with the cover you already have.

Bar furniture repair in New Jersey

Most of it never needs recovering

A burn, a slash, an opened seam or a cracked seat front does not mean the cover is finished. Bar furniture repair works on the damage itself and leaves the rest of the piece alone — which is why it runs about a quarter of what re-covering costs.

Recovering is the right answer when the cover has genuinely gone. If it has not, you are paying for material you did not need. We say which one you are looking at before you spend anything — the bar upholstery page covers the re-cover side.

Seating

What we are called in for

A cigarette burn through a leather seat with charred edges
Burns

Cigarette and ember holes

Charred edge cut back, the hole filled level, colour and grain rebuilt over it.

A split seam being hand-stitched back together
Seams

Stitching that has run

The usual failure on booth corners. Re-stitched by hand, in place, before it opens further.

Cracked and hardened seats

Surface cracking filled and refinished. Hardened panels past saving get told straight.

Tears and slashes

Closed and blended so the repair disappears at normal distance.

Under the cover

Frames, legs and foam

A stool that rocks is a joint, not a cover. Racked frames are re-glued and clamped, loose legs re-doweled, footrings refixed.

Collapsed foam is the one thing a new cover cannot hide. If the edge roll has gone, it is rebuilt first — otherwise the new cover bags out inside a season.

Not just seats

The rest of the room

Tables

Edges and tops

Chipped edges filled, ring marks and scarring taken out, the top brought back to one finish.

Scuffed frames and legs

Shoes and vacuum heads do this. Touched in and resealed rather than stripped.

A back-to-back booth with an upholstered end panel
Booths

End panels and backs

The panels that take trolleys and chair backs. Repaired in place, no dismantling.

Bar tops

Scarring and water marks

Refinished overnight where the top is sound. Done in sections so the bar stays usable.

Service by service, it is all on the services page — holes and burns, rips, tears, cracking, scuffs and scratches.

What we will tell you to replace

Frames that have gone

Split rails and racked joints that have already been screwed back together once. A repair there lasts a season.

Bonded covers

They delaminate rather than crack. Once the surface is lifting in sheets, nothing holds it down.

Vinyl that has hardened

If it cracks again when you flex it, filling the crack buys weeks. That seat wants a new cover.

Anything repaired twice

A third pass on the same seat is money after money. It goes in the replace column.

Telling you not to spend is cheaper for us than doing work that fails and comes back. We would rather lose the line than warranty it twice.

How it runs

One night, no closure

  1. Photos and a count

Your worst piece plus a number. We price per piece and for the batch.

  2. We come after close

Or before open. Whichever loses you less.

  3. Repair in the room

Nothing leaves. Colour is mixed against the pieces already there.

  4. Dry before doors

Sealed and cured for service that night.

A finished repair being sealed and left to cure

Bar furniture repair is priced per piece, and the per-piece number falls as the count rises — one visit covers twelve seats as easily as three.

No deposit and no charge to look. Certificates of insurance issued before the visit if the landlord needs one.

Asked by operators

Before you book

Repair or re-cover?

If the cover is intact and the damage is local, repair — roughly a quarter of the cost. Photos tell us which within the hour.

Will the burn still show?

Not at normal distance. Charred edge is cut back, the hole filled level, colour and grain rebuilt over it.

Can you fix one seat without doing the run?

Yes. One seat is a normal booking. The saving just gets better with count.

Do you work on wood as well as covers?

Yes — table edges, bar tops, chair frames and legs, all in the same visit.

Does the bar have to close?

No. Work happens after close or before open, in sections if the room is big.

How fast can you come?

Usually the same week. Say if you have a date — an inspection, a private event — and we will tell you honestly.

Is there a warranty?

Yes, in writing on the work we do. If a repair lifts under normal use we come back. See the warranty.
