Anything with a cover
Upholstery is the padding and the material over it, wherever people sit. The same trade covers a living room, a restaurant, a car and a boat cabin. See industries we serve.

Leather, fabric or vinyl
Each one wears differently, so each one is repaired differently. Leather can usually be repaired; fabric is usually recovered; vinyl can go either way.

Upholstery FAQ
What people ask before booking upholstery NJ wide.
What is the difference between repair and reupholstery?
Repair keeps the cover you have: tears, cracks, burns and fading are fixed and blended in. Reupholstery replaces the cover, and often the foam, over the existing frame. Repair costs less when the material is still sound.
Do you upholster in leather, fabric and vinyl?
Yes. Leather, fabric and vinyl, on home furniture, commercial seating, car seats and boat cushions.
Is it worth reupholstering an old sofa?
Often, when the frame is solid. A good frame recovered in new material can outlast a new budget sofa. If the frame is broken or the piece is cheaply built, we will say so.
Can you match the existing color?
For repairs, color is mixed to match the piece. For reupholstery, you choose the new material and we can show options close to the original.
How do I get a price?
Text or email photos of the piece to (347) 310-7483 or office@leatherrestorepro.com, or use the free estimate form.

Send photos of your piece
A photo of the whole piece and a close-up of the damage are enough to tell you whether it needs repair or new upholstery. Nothing is booked until you say yes.
